Sound Insulation Testing

Pre-completion sound testing under Part E of the Building Regulations.

All new build properties and conversions require 10% of each party wall/floor construction type to be tested. Sound Testing is carried out between pair of rooms separated  by party walls or floors. 

We can provide acoustic design or onsite “comfort testing” at an earlier stage before completion to give you comfort you are on the right track to pass.

Change of use, or newly separated existing dwellings creating new habitable accommodation  are also subject to sound insulation testing.

What if it fails ?

Sound Test failures to a project can prove costly in relation to both financial and programme.
